Why do you need an Umbrella policy?
Umbrella programs extend your coverage beyond the liability limits of your Wayne Insurance Group Personal Auto, Homeowners, Mobile Homeowners, Dwelling Properties, Farmowners and commercial policies. An Umbrella policy provides an extra layer of security in the event of damage you cause to other people’s property or injuries you might cause to others in an accident.
Umbrella Programs
Wayne Insurance Group offers three types of umbrella programs: the Personal Umbrella Liability Program, Farm Umbrella Liability Program and Commercial Umbrella Liability Program. The base umbrella programs provide coverage to a limit of $1 million, with additional limits up to $5 million available.
If you insure your auto, home, farm or business with Wayne Insurance Group, our Umbrella Programs can provide you with these important coverages anywhere in the world:
- Property damage - for losses in excess of the liability limits of your Personal Auto, Homeowners, Farmowners or personal liability insurance policies
- Bodily injury - for doctor bills, hospital expenses, ambulance bills and funeral expenses that may not be covered by your underlying policies
- Personal injury - for alleged acts of libel, slander, wrongful eviction, defamation of character, and other acts that may not be covered by your underlying policies
- Advertising liability - for alleged publication of material that slanders or libels a person or organization or disparages a person's or organization's goods, products or services; alleged publication of material that violates a person's right of privacy; alleged misappropriation of advertising ideas or style of doing business; or alleged infringement of copyright, title or slogan.
Consult your Wayne Insurance Group agent to find out which program will best suit your needs.
The coverages described above are presented in general terms and are subject to the actual policy exclusions and conditions.
